To protect the state's resources for future generations, it is the Treasurer's responsibility to safely and smartly invest Illinois' tax dollars. As Treasurer, Robin will use her expertise to ensure the state is investing in diverse, secure instruments that maximize returns and minimize risk.

Record of Accomplishment

Robin worked with the Treasurer to implement a new program to make investment information easily accessible on the Treasurer's Office website by publishing monthly reports on how much the office is investing, where it's investing, and how it's doing relative to other financial benchmarks. The program has made the Treasurer's Office more accountable to the people they serve. In addition, Robin is a member of the Treasurer's internal investment policy committee and has helped to organize and select members of the external investment advisory committee. Currently, she sits on the loan committee that votes to grant low interest loans to borrowers.
