Information is one of the most powerful tools the Treasurer's Office can provide to Illinois families and individuals. As Treasurer, Robin will continue to expand access to financial literacy programs as a way to empower Illinois families, and help prevent them from making bad financial decisions. In addition, Robin will work to expand financial literacy programs to our schools so young people have a better understanding of money and finances, the power of saving and investing, the importance of good credit, and the convenience and pitfalls of credit cards. Robin believes that early education on these topics is invaluable.
